Neill’s early career featured a standout performance as Damien, the adult antichrist, in The Omen III (1981). He later starred with Nicole Kidman in the psychological thriller Dead Calm (1989), showcasing his versatility. Collaborating with Sir Sean Connery in the 1990 submarine drama The Hunt For Red October, Neill demonstrated his range, while his work in Jane Campion’s Oscar-winning drama The Piano (1993) highlighted his ability to blend subtlety with intensity.
