Another woman described experiencing severe flashbacks and stated that her emergency call required forty minutes before a fire engine arrived. Meanwhile, A-level student Dominic Abdullah had to abandon his home shortly after receiving his examination results on Thursday.

Garrigan explained that crews requested ten additional fire appliances nationally but could only supply some of them initially.
