Two Men Charged in Connection with Body Found in Suitcase

Two charged as body found in suitcase – Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, has been charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial, while Jamie Cooper, 27, from the same address, faces charges of preventing a lawful burial. Both individuals are in custody and scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Investigation Details
Police were called to a flat in Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, at 22:55 BST on Thursday. No one was present at the time, but investigators suspected harm had occurred there. On Friday, officers discovered a man’s body in a suitcase within a wooded area of Borstal, Kent.
“The victim and the two men charged were known to each other,” stated the Met Police.
Formal identification of the body has not yet been confirmed, though police believe they have identified the deceased and are assisting their next of kin. The case remains under active investigation as more evidence is gathered.
